Is the comptech air filter any good??

 

I've been using it. When I dynoed it against stock filter, it has a 2-3 HP gain. However, it is more expensive than K&N.

Car idled better after putting in the Comptech filter. The S2000 was much harder to stall afterwards when I was learning stick. Comptech claims 3 rear wheel horsepower. I now have 4700 miles on my S2000 now. I am happy with my choice for a filter. Next week I'll change the oil to Mobil1 and a PureOne oil filter at 5000 miles.

 

How much is it ?
And where do I get one ?

 

What are the gains from a K&N filter?
