I ordered mine 4 weeks ago. Mine should be in this week sometime but am putting off buying it for another 2 weeks because I am buying the full Tein Race Suspension. That is first. So it will be at the shop but I wont actually pick it up for weeks. It may be there today. They told me they would ship it early since I had been waiting and since I was a good customer(whatever that means). Anyway once I get it installed I will let you know on the gains. I had the AEM CAI but had problems with it. I am glad I got rid of that one. Anyway I will let you guys know if the power gains are similar.

What problems did you have with the AEM that you dont think you will have with the Comptech?

 

The AEM sat lower to the ground than the Comptech CAI. Plus they have a water guard on it to prevent rain water from getting inside. Plus its Comptech vs. AEM. I would take Comptech over AEM products any day. To me its like comparing HKS to Weapon R. Its just a better overall product in quality and workmanship. I have had better experiences with Comptech, Racing Hart and Tein. Just my opinion.
