I have been wanting a competch intake myself... Not sure how good they are but I do know they don't suck in water and i have heard they have a good sound... I would like to find out more though... espically one for a MY04.

I'm with you tuneds2000, the search function is great, but not many that specifically pertain to the 04. I would like to hear from some 04 owners!

The search is great but in are situation it does not help because we have a MY04. You go and search Competch or Competch CAI and I don;t get what I am looking for I get what I allready know. I know this is redundent... I am thinking about jsut getting the Competch CAI and finding out for myself if I like it or not. I would really like an AEM or Injen but I don't want to have to cut stuff to install them or have to worry about getting water in them. I am going to call my dealer tomorrow and ask if it will void my warrenty or if they have to install it. I should have an intake by April if all goes well (hopefully something or someone will tell me they like the Competch CAI and they also drive a MY04 before I just go and buy the Competch CAI)

yes, I have the comptec cold air intake, and I am very pleased with it, I have better throttle responce, more power in the mids I find it more drivable. It fits well. and...sounds great. I saw a dyno chart somewhere and it shows a horsepower gain. they work try one.LK
