Once again, here is what I did to solve the resonance problem.

I took a piece of high-density packing foam, the kind used in packing electronics. The piece was 3/8th of an inch thick and a 4 x 5 inch rectangle. I used it to cover the hole on the top of the air box where the support rod goes. This solved the problem !!!

Pic1 is of the completed install of the CAI. ( Sorry about the reflection from the florescent lights. )

Pic2 is with the piece of in place.

Pic3 shows the thickness of the foam.

This fix really works ! Plug the hole.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't like paying $350.00+ for a part that I must apply high-density packing foam to.

FYI, I am running with no CF air-box cover at all, and I still get terrible resonance. I guess I will have to put the cover back on and stuff it with some foam

Anyone want a comptech intake for $300.00? Shipped. for real.

Here's that DYNO you asked for. We recently has a DYNO Day and Kibro had just installed the Comptech CAI and he also has the SPOON Exhaust. He's stock other than those 2 mods.

I'm particularly impressed with the Torque of 140.
