Default Comptech Quieter Than AEM V2?

Obviously the Comptech has a box of sorts but does it quiet the intake sound at all compared to the AEM V2? Anyone had both?

Comptech is one of the more quiet exhausts. The two sets I've heard had a slight raspy rattling noise. IMO it's the worst exhaust made for our car. The gains are somewhere in the range of non-existant to almost non-existant.

Intake, not exhaust

No idea on the Comptech, but the AEM V2 isn't very loud

OIC, I thought you were asking if CT exhaust would "quiet" the intake by being louder.

The V2 is one of the louder intakes I've personally heard. I think the CT one should definitely be quieter.

The AEM V2 is louder than the Comptech Box.

I've been around both intakes you mentioned, and own the comptech. It is a bit quieter than the AEM, has c.a.r.b. (smog) approval and no potential of ingesting water. It will rattle against the hood if not installed just right.
