Have you considered a aftermarket fuel pressure regulator?

Jim,

Hopefully my supercharger kit should be shipped in a week or two... I have the plastic well below the top removed and can see all gas piping going into the tank... will I have an easier time changing the fuel pump? I think the hardest part was removing the main cranshaft pulley to send to Comptech. With the special Honda crank stabilizer bar + a 2 1/2 foot torque wrenth, that bolt was THE hardest I have EVER removed...

bobatimez,

From what I hear from others about the history of Comptech Superchargers in NSX's and Integras...they are reliable and the safer forced induction option.

With forced induction...there has to be the shortening of the life of the engine, because you are putting the engine to more work. But, that depends on how hard you drive the car and the maintanence you do.

It shouldn't be too long before one of the car mags does a test on the SC. Perhaps Comptech should approach C&D or R&T about doing a test. I'm sure the publicity couldn't hurt.

I didn't know that this thread was back. My car is alive and well with nearly 10,000 miles (3000 with the sc) without any problems. The fuel pump will be difficult even with the roof well cover removed. It's not that the task is difficult it's just that it is such a cramped space to work in.

Here's a picture of the S2k sc on the top right the NSX sc on the top left and a couple extras that I threw in. The S2k now has a carbon fiber cover over the airbox.
