Jim Lieber,

Great job buddy! I wanted to ask...did you install the SC by yourself? Also, did the engine have to be taken out of the car?

I would like to install the SC myself with the aid of some motor-heads.

Thanks,

I did not install the supercharger myself. I had it done by a friend of mine who is an excellent Acura/Honda mechanic. He did the NSX as well. The engine does not have to come out and the job would probably only take 4-5hrs for someone who's done one before.

Unicron,

I too am installing my own supercharger... one piece of advice: make sure you buy or borrow the crank damper removal tool used to keep the crankshaft pulley from moving while removing the huge bolt that secures it. I do believe that the bolt was fastened with >185ft-lb of torque listed in the manual because it took all the leverage power in my legs pushing against the wall of my garage while placing my 3' torque wrench on my shoulder... it is by far the tightest bolt I have ever removed...

I had to order the very large crank holder from my Honda dealer and it cost $68.00 but I do believe there were websites selling a similar pulley holder for Integras + Civics for less...

Gotta have this tool!

ok....I have seen the charts a million times...what I want to know is how those numbers translate into real world track times...i.e. 0-60; 1/4 mile, and improvement on previous around the track times....
