Default Comptech supercharger; Anyone know a good mechanic?

I have got a new 2004 s2000 and want to instal a comptech supercharger and aftercooler but I live in Grand Rapids Michigan and I have to admit I don't know any mechanics around here. I just want to be shure that if I am going to (at best) completly eliminate my waranty and have someone tinker with my car for ~10 hrs. it needs to be done right. Anyone know a mechanic shop with the kind of experience to do this. I need someone in michigan/detroit/gr?

Find a Honda dealer who is authorized to install Comptech and you won't lose your warranty.

Im having the same problem Waldo.. Im going to be getting a SC soon and there isnt any shops around here i trust with my S. I was going to get ahold of Hardtopguy and see if he can install it for me when im ready! Its a bit of a drive but i would trust him with my car. I would drive a few hours just to know it was getting done right! By the way i also got my S in Grand Rapids

These guy's are the best (professionalism and know-how). Check them out.

Hey thanks for the replys. Has anyone ever asked a Honda dealership / shop to install the S/C A/C? I did not know there were "authorized" dealears who do the instal ; only ones that are authorized to sell the S/C. (and would they honestly not void the warranty?)

Waldo, since this thread is not really "technical", I'm going to move it the "S2000 Talk". This may give you more views by people who might have an answer for you. You might also want to copy the link to this thread and post it in your regional forum.

They can't "void" your warranty. If you were to have an engine failure that was obviously from the SuperCharger they could decide not to fix it for you. They could also decide not to pay for any damages if the install was done incorrectly. I would call comptech and ask them if they know of any honda dealers in your area that they recommend to do the install.
