Remember filling 2 liters at 9000 rpm is a lot like a 5.0 liter V-8 at 5000 rpm, they must also get 7-10 mpg. A 1.6 liter Civic at 6-7000 rpm will surely use less fuel.

10 sounds about right. I used over half a tank in 60 minutes of total track time.

Yep, I find this really odd. I can't get any better than 7mpg on the track - you obviously don't race fast enough!
