I've owned 2 convertibles, Miata being my first (still own it) and the Honda my second. That said, the only thing I'd be worried about is when the top is up, about the blind spot! Then again, you get used to it (when you have your top UP, if ever ), and you'll have your top more DOWN then up anyways.

I love this car as a daily driver. It snowed a few times right after I got the car, but even with stock tires, it was no problem as long as I went slow. Of course, I didn't get around to checking the tire pressures right away either, so after the snow had gone I found out my left rear tire was at 46psi and my right rear tire was at 25psi.

But man, this car is such a blast. I actually enjoy driving to work now

Depends on where you live? If you lived in buffalo ny and you were using the s2000 as only car i would say you are nuts.

Also if you have a big family or just got married, i would say you will soon be needing a second car or have to sell the S.

I live in metro nyc and it is my only car and I have already ran into many reasons why i need another car. Winter will abuse your car and increase chance of accidents. even if you are careful you have to dodge all those dumb suv drivers.

But its like real estate. the fastest way to buy a house is to just buy a house and ask questions later. Once you have the S, then you can decide for yourself if its a good only-car. if not, than get a beater. But you'll be an S owner

Good luck.

I use the car as daily driver for about 9 months a year here in Connecticut. I have a GMC pickup truck for when I have to go to work despite the weather.

Of course I'd rather drive the S...

BECAUSE IT HAS A BETTER SOUND SYSTEM (now) !!!

Oh, and its a fantastic drive. To echo other sentiments in this thread, it is the first car that I LOOK FORWARD to driving every day.

It is loud and a bit of a rough ride for long hauls and steady highway driving, but I love it any other time.
