Gets easier once it's broken in. I use mine 99% of the time (as well as I can remember the warm weather *sigh*). IMO, it looks better with the boot on, and does a nice job protecting.

Jaded41, what srap to pull tight? My 02 only has 2 straps for by the seats(non adjustable) and one snap behind each seat.

I've had the cover on twice. First time was to see how it fits. Second time was when I was taking pictures of the car -- IMO that's all it's good for and the rest of the time it's in the garage.

As for the wind deflector.. it works great IMO and I'm not alone. Any of my buddies with vintage sportscars are amazed how well it keeps you from being buffeted by the wind from the backside.
