Default convertible top cover

i need help with the convertible top cover cause for some reason i can't get mine on right. first off the 2 pins behind the front seat were a real pain, i mean i really had to pull the thing down and it was a challange to pull it off also. but the main problem is the back part dosn't seem to fit. i can't keep it down, it just flaps away as i'm driving. anyone else have a similar probems with theirs. btw its a my05

It just needs to loosen up a bit. Let it sit in the sun for a few mins prior to install. After you put it on and take it off a few times it'll be much easier.

I had the same problem with my '05. I ended up selling the new top cover and using my old top cover from my '04 which worked fine before. It still comes up on one side though. I think it just has to be in the sun a few times to loosen up and bend the right way. The cold weather makes it hard to streatch out to the pins behind the seats and keeps the plastic flaps on the back side from bending the right way. I think once we see some 80F days or higher things should straighten out.

My guess is that your top is not down all the way.
