Default Convertible Top Experts Please HELP!

OK, I just applied the RaggTop Spray protectant to my top because of continued recomendations from owners in this forum. Now, it appears that recent postings imply that it may DAMAGE the TOP!! I think I speak for a lot of owners when I say, can an expert please come to our aid to set the record straight?

I'm afraid that I may have caused some of your confusion. Perhaps my "warning" post was a bit too strongly worded.

Don't worry about using the Ragg Topp. It will require long term exposure of the Ragg Topp to the vinyl in order to have a significant negative impact on the vinyl. The Ragg Topp will make the top look better (more black) but it will not add any protection for the top. Just plain soap and water is your best option (and cheapest).

Sorry for the previous confusion!!

No problem, just don't want to damage the top! It sure does look a lot better though.

I thought you were never supposed to put soap on the top???? Can someone further this comment?
