Default convertible top question

okay this is mainly for the ap1 owners, does anyone have wear on the latches for the top? the latches on the top of the window have the latches on them (like yall dont know that) seem to have a good bit of wear on it and was wondering if there is any way to fix the wearing.

keep the top down !

I can go months (near a year) without putting the top up, no wear on my top or latches.

Where are you parking your car? Don't you get dust inside or do you have one of those covers?

I don't trust people enough to keep my top down all the time. If you park in the garage or know its not gonna rain you could put the top up and windows up without latching it, just an idea.

The black paint on the latches of my ap1 are worn but the latches themselves are fine. They still make a good tight seal.

Sounds like you need new strikers. Search these forums for the DIY.

Buy some hardtop strikers and you'll be good to go. I had crazy wind noise coming from the front. The hardtop strikers completely fixed that!
