Lucky I've not got any stupid maintenance light warning crap ... Seriously, if you love your car enough you will be checking it out almost everytime when you wash it to see if everything in general is in place and running order. That's how I operate anyway so I make sure that I know my car is in exact good condition when I put it to sleep.

If you were completely out of coolant, didn't your temp gauge reflect this?

Brandon -- I hope you are dealing with JR at Fowler Honda in Norman. He has an S2000, and if you ask -- he'll put the right service guys on the job. It's nice to get the ones that know how to do the little things like close the hood right, not lean on the wheel wells, and put shin-etsu on the seals without asking!

In case nobody mentioned this: did you pop the cap on the radiator and look at the coolant? Does it look like a chocolate milk shake? How about the oil dipstick or drain a little bit of oil? Is the oil level higher than normal? Is it foamy or milky brown? Does the exhaust have white smoke in it? Is the coolant temp higher than normal? All of these point toward a leak, usually a blown head gasket.

Hope this helps.

Attention Cold Air Purchasers and Vendors:
Several people have posted problems after swapping these two hoses. Purchasers should clearly mark them and Vendors (obviously) need to provide better install instructions.

lvs2k - At one point, I had 4 bars of temperature for a brief moment.

0k2k - I am in Tulsa right now, so I am dealing with Joe Marina Honda. But when I am in Norman, I always go to Fowler Honda, but I deal with Keri. He also has an S2000(Comptech Supercharged one at that ). And he treats me very well and gives me great serivice. I'm not sure if I know who JR is, but I'm sure if he is still there, I have seen him around.

Thanks,
-Brandon

Keri just moved actually. It was his last day when I went down there to get a bracket on my SC replaced. Don't worry though, Jim is the tech that installed his SC and he still works there.
