+1 It's illegal everywhere as far as I know. That's why Rick's sells these bulbs.

i have the stock sidemarkers on the s2k but on all my other cars i always rocked the clear sidemarkers with the amber bulb. non-conformity draws attention from the police and at night you'll stand out and have a tailgater waiting for you to do something wrong...

It must illuminate amber. Doesn't have to have an amber lens. That is where an orange bulb is your friend

u misunderstood; good looking-out though.

i got pulled-over by the same department. i always had an amber bulb in there. they always wanted to check to make sure i didn't take it out or something. i never understood it, but always turned-on the hazards 4 them to prove & drove-off. must have been a big problem in the small suburb way back then. i don't agree with people using clear bulbs either. so, the situation was dumb as i was always legal.

if it is a 194 bulb it will most likely be a 194na for a amber
