Pretty much everyone that has chimed in has it correct, but I'll add some.

I noticed that you're planning to keep the "S2000" badge on the side. Funny thing is that it's the only one that would be free and easy to remove.

As for the other holes (H badges), the cost can vary on exactly how you want it done. Do you just want to fill it or weld it? When you paint, that's where the price can really change. You can just paint the nearby area and do it very cheap. You can also blend it into every body panel near it, and that will be expensive.

In my experience (on friends' cars, and people on the boards), it costs anywhere from the low end of $250-300 to $1000+.

As an alternative to de-badging why not remove the emblems and paint them your S's car color. They will blend in and cost less to accomplish.

That actually sounds interesting. I've seen pictures of "gunmetal" or black emblems on cars, but I have a GPW car. It think it may look funny to have white emblems on a white car. I'd love to see pictures.

The front bumper should cost about $300 to repaint. Plastic welding the holes should not be much work. I'm thinking about $100. So $400 to do the whole job. The bumper will need to be welded and repainted. Probably around the same price.

Actually I think for the newer models, they got rid of the studs on the decals, so there might not be any holes in the bumper.

Interesting. Can anyone confirm this to be true? I have an 07 and would like to try it out.

I'd like to try this out but I'm sure since I have an '04, I'll have the tabs still.
