I am strongly considering trading in my low mileage 2000 for a new 2002.

I would greatly appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this already. Specifically what was the cost to upgrade? Is it possible to trade in the 7/100 Hondacare warranty towards another car?

Any additional info?

The warranty at best is transferable from owner to owner on the same car but not from car to car.

As for a trade in - from what I understand, you are likely to have to make up a $6k-$8k price difference on a trade depending on mileage and car condition.

 

Yes, $6-$8k is in the about right. Remember that when you trade in, you only pay tax on the difference.
