Hypothetically, someone offers you a Boxster of the same vintage as your S2K. Would you take an even trade?

 

A my2000 base Boxster, with 200hp? No way!

 

i would do an even trade. i would trade for a 2002 boxster...then i would sell the boxster...and i would buy another 2002 s2k with money left over to modify it.

My answer would be - no trade. I have the better car. It may not have the prestigous Porsche name, but it will have the expensive Porsche repair bills. I'm happy knowing I have the better car.

 

I wouldn't either. Believe it or not, but I get more attention driving my car than a Boxster or any 996. I wouldn't even trade it for an M3 *scouts honor*

 

I would trade it for Boxter S to be honest... I've always liked boxter.

 

Regular Boxster, nope. Boxster S maybe. I would do a straight trade sell it and get a new S with plenty of money for a beater car or major mods.

I seen a red Box at lunch and it was a 60+ year old guy driving like how ancient people drive with them hunched over the steering well. If that is the image of a Boxster driver then no thanks

 

If the boxster has rear glass window, I would.

In fact, I would have bought a boxster (instead of the S2K) if it had glass. I love the way it looks more than the S2K.

 

It's a wanna be Porsche. There's no car I despise more than the Boxster.
