The eighties saw many cars turned out with shaky reliability including many BMW's, but things got better in the nineties. I had two BMW's with a few problems but both saw less shop time than the S2000 has. I tried to like the retro styling of the current BMW roadsters but just could not.. that and the shake/flex turned me off. I certainly would buy another BMW product but they seem to be moving up in dollars faster than my income so it may not happen.

umm..no...i think it looks pretty cool. IT won't look like that when it is done anyway. I really like other BMW's, porsche's and most vw's and audi's (the bug can go to hell though!! ). I really like porsche styling, but to each his own. Personally...I could give a rat's ass what it looks like. I kinda liked the m-coupe even though it was ugly. It had a ugly mean look to it...I don't need women to think i have a pretty car!! Besides for 45k that get's you 2200 lb car with at least 240 HP....I could care less if it is ugly. The elise is ugly too, but i would love one.

The value of your car does not fix you place on the social or evolutionary ladder !!!!!

We seem to have some serious knuckle draggers as owners on this board, so I wouldn't suggest that we are any higher up the ladder than owners of any other cars..... except maybe Z3 owners

Yeah, but it's a BMW!

As we all know:
