Countersinking stock '04 shift knob
Anyone done this before? I prefer the shape of it over the Voodoo knobs. The leather helps absorb heat/cold/vibrations.
I did a search and found this thread:

Anyone in the bay area got a machine to do this?
On a different note, did our passwords get reset? I noticed mine stopped working and I had to use the password recovery and it sent me a new passwd.

...The stock leather wrapped knob ('02+, I think) is actually 3 pieces (top, bottom, leather). The top is press fit into the bottom, and the leather piece is sandwiched between the two. When you drill up through the bottom, it cuts through the press fit, and the top pops off..... not good results.
