Default coupe model S

I've noticed alot of S drivers like the hardtop. Is this because of theft, weather,or look.

I mean one of the main reasons i got the car was cuz it was a vert.

If the S came in a coupe model and vert which would you get.

My soft top is in my basement. A hard top is required for racing and adds a bit extra safety even w/out a rollcage.

Most will answer convertible, but a lot of those are just being self-delusional. Many convertible owners just like the idea of having a convertible, but they never put the top down.

Case in point: in the last two days I've seen five S's out on the road (besides my own), only one of which had the top down. Bad, winter weather, you ask? Sure, if you consider 70s and cloudless skies to be insufficient reason to put the top down.

I always put my top down when the weather is reasonably ok.I even installed some seat hetars a couple of weeks ago so i can keep the top down longer into the season.

One of the main reasons I got the car was due to the convertible. My top is down about 65-75% of the time that I am in the car. Even if it is 40 degrees outside, instead of putting the top up I just dress warmer. I think I would have gotten this car even if it didn't come with a top at all.

If it were not a convertible, I would have gone with the MX5. If I prefered the coupe, I would have gone with the G35 or Z...
