I do like the look of the hardtop, but I love top down. I've been known to drive top down in the rain, snow, 100+ degree days, 20 degree days, etc.
and I have gotten wierd looks from people when I was driving at night, on the highway 24
I will say it again, if people want a coupe...ask for it to be called prelude or something else. Sorry but an "S" car shouldn't have a fixed roof. It sure as hell would be a nice change though. I'd own both. haha. coupe for the track, roadster (not vert!
) for daily driver.

It all depends...
I tend to dislike the convertible version when a car is offered in both forms. For instance, if I bought a 350Z or a Corvette I'd prefer the coupe. Usually because the convertible takes away from the performance of the car.
However, the S was designed from the ground up to be a roadster. I couldn't have it any other way. Having said that, if I lived in an area with colder winters (which will be soon enough), I would have use for an OEM hardtop.

Coupe all the way. the car would probably about 200lbs lighter without a vert.
What do all 3 cars have in common? They were engineered to be convertibles from the very beginning, vs. having to add a lot of heavy chassis bracing after the fact.
If the coupe was lighter and more rigid, Coupe for me. It's like asking would you rather have the Boxter or Cayman (assuming same power), Cayman for me no question.
I bought the S2000 because of the car, not the vert aspect. Granted it's nice to have a vert but I'm just more of a coupe person.
