Thumbs up Couple of questions?

Well, I am new to the forums, but I do have a few questions...

I'm interested in buying a 01' S2k w/ 15k mi its silver w/ red leather. I absolutely love it I am going Saturday to test drive it and see if I want it. They are asking $19,995 I am hoping I can get them to come down a little off of the price. Overall the car seems very attractive low miles great shape and fair price. It has apparently had three other owners. Now is that a problem? That would make me the fourth if I were to get it. I mean it seems that everyone who has owned kept it immaculate.

Should I be wary?

pull a carfax on it.

i got my MY01 silverstone S w/ 55k mi on it, and it was in great condition. it only had 1 previous owner with a clean carfax. if i remember correctly it was around $14,500.

i would have a mechanic check it out just to make sure there's no big issue with the car.

oh, and if you hear a buzz coming from the front of the car, it's probably the clutch buzz common to earlier models of the S. it's not a problem, but it is annoying to some. i kind of like the rawness of the clutch buzz

I did pull a CarFax and everything checks out to be ok. I am a Honda technician so I am not really worried about it too much I was just wondering if I should be wary possibly being the fourth owner of a 6yr old car...

So $19,995 is a little on the high side?

Mileage and condition are probably great from the sound of it; I would look towards something closer to $17,000. If not lower.

IMO, $16,000-$17,000 would be a good price. when i shopped for my S, i saw many MY02-MY03's for $19,000-$20,000, with decently low mileage and great condition.
