+1

Stay away from this car, if it has that many problems it'll just end up being a bigger headache to live with later.

...and $41k? really?

that is mad skills right there.... my guess is they missed a shift, overrevved, rear tires locked up, then they spun into a tree. hence the broken tie rod....

Autotrader listings:

That's just from Autotrader. I guess you can call up Honda and have them search one for you. I still say pass this one up. You don't pay tax anyways!

Stupid dealer with a garbage car. Why you're even entertaining their homework assignment for you (absolutely ridiculous you're doing this) is beyond me.

Cars invoke such passion in car enthusiasts. I completely understand. However, I feel like because of that, sometimes we forget we hold the ultimate power in a dealership. There are a lot of CRs out there and also a lot of dealers out there. Some of them understand that they're the ones working to sell a car rather than making a buyer convince them to sell the car.

Move on. You'll save more money buying a car in a state that charges tax in the long run. Good luck to your friend! I hope she gets the right car for her.

WTF? Just walk away. Your friend will pay her state's sales tax when she registers the car at home, so no discount there. Even for a pristine, 0 mile CR, the dealer is asking for a ridiculous amount. And asking that amount on a car with this sort of history should be worthy of criminal prosecution. I'd say that upper $20k's is still overpriced.
