This specific CR was the target because of it being here in Oregon first of all which means no sales tax, and also because it had been at the dealer for long enough that a substantial discount would seem plausible.

The car has a factory warranty once it is sold, so whatever has been done to it is covered. If something is messed up with it, its Honda's to fix.
umm she still has to pay sales tax in the state she registers it in and 41k for a used CR no f'en way

I would never buy that car. If I was forced to (aka wife wanted it and was withholding sex), I would pay $21-23k.

I paid $23k for a stock 07' with 7k miles on it A YEAR AGO and I'd take it any day over what sounds like an abomination of a car.

I'd also tell that dealer to sit and spin.

to be honest, you just don't seem like a good friend
you really think your friend would want to travel 1500 miles to buy an overpriced beat-to-hell car for $41k??????
I'd hate to see how you treat your enemies. send them to gitmo? boil in oil?

bullsh!t
the car has bunch of ugly crap done to it, and has already had problems from likely being beat on.

I agree with the above post and I don't understand why you'd even THINK of this POS as a car to buy. There are too many other good deals on these things elsewhere.

and warranty? Are you kidding? This isn't a Chrysler and you wouldn't be worried about it being covered if you weren't looking at what is possibly the worst CR to buy that will ever be sold in all of North America
