im gonna make this quick. i cracked my CF lip on a curb last night and i was wondering if there is anyway to mend this; its a pretty nice crack. i thought to myself "no, there's not" but i figured id ask anyway. i guess ill have to get a new one right? thanks.

ps - anyone know a good place to get an OEM cf lip not from ebay? there's none on ebay right now and the lowest i found was $230 + shipping. also, anyone know a good place for the airwalker lip? couldnt find that one anywhere.

 

Duct Tape

On a serious note, you could always paint it. I'm not sure if there is anyway to mend this while keeping the CF unpainted and clean-looking.

 

yeh i thought maybe i could have a body shop re-mold it like fiberglass, and then i would have to just paint it silverstone because it wouldnt look right if i left it CF. this sucks. i still cant find the airwalker lip anywhere either.

are u serious? thats pretty ghetto. i mean, i used tape on my 94 prelude when i was 17, but not on my s2000... plus youd still be able to see the crack with see-through tape; its not hairline, its a big crack. do u have any pictures of your lip taped? id be curious as to how it came out.
