I just saw a big crack on my windshield and it seems like I'm gonna need a new one I am wondering if I should do it at the dealer or have a windshield repair shop do it? Any advice on what I should be looking/asking for to have it repaired? TIA...

 

Nothing special. No reason you cannot have a windshield repair place come out to where you are and repair it. Providing your deductible is $100 or less, most repair shops will waive it and the replacement will be free for you.

 

Don't do it at the dealer, it's a rip off. Find a local PPG installer... lower cost, quailty glass.
