Default Crashed the S

Well, it's definately a bad day. I crashed the S in a ditch. Ripped the rear bumper off, the front one also. The side skirts are cracked. The one fender in the front is a little bent, not bad. Also the Rad and the other cooler thingy is pushed in. The frame for the Rads are bent, and it's leaking Engine Coolant. The actual car frame is fine. No motor damage.
The car did a complete 360 and flew into the ditch and went a little airborne, and flew over a curb. I don't really need to explain how fast I was going, it was coming out of a sharp turn. MY BAD.

Anyways I need help finding a good place to buy a new Body kit. I don't want to spend a fortune, but I don't want crap either. What a bummer, a couple of more weeks and it would have been sitting pretty in the garage for the winter.

That stinks, but I feel your pain. Yesterday I went off the road into a ditch as well on the Mohawk drive in Mass. Not as much damage, but still a bummer.

Spend the extra money you would on a fancy body kit and take a driving course.

I'm loted near Toronto, Ontario. Insurance won't change, because it's not being reported. Yes the cop came to see the car but he figures that I'll pay enough to repair it myself. Thanks GOD.

Thanks RED MX 5. Everybody does stupid things one in awhile. It just happens that mine was unfortunate. I understand that I was stupid, I sur don't need others letting me know. It sounds worse then it really is.

Not posting your incident on the internet would probably reduce the amount of ridicule.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Good luck getting it right again.

Thanks, I guess now I can put a body kit that I really want on it. Also maybe do a few other things, now that it's laid up for the season.

LOL, I deleted my post becase it was too harsh. I guess I got upon the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Anyway, I'm glad you got the message.

I'm not sure you're being fair with yourself, because we all make mistakes, and while there are few "smart" mistakes, it's not necessarily a sign of stupidity. It just makes us feel dumber than dirt when we do something like this. In reality, a driver error can happen at any time, in traffic, on the track, or anywhere else, and it only proves that we're human, and falable. As long as we don't let this kind of thing happen in a place where we are putting others at risk I have a hard time seeing it as stupid. We pays our moeny and takes our chances, and hopefully our judgement keeps us out of trouble most of the time.

To err is human; To flame, divine.
