Default A Crazy world of colours!

People,

I'm on all set to join the world of S2K, and although the five month wait for a Euro import is a pain, the real deal of pain is as far as the colour...

Here in the UK, there is no yellow option, however, where the car is being sourced from - Holland - it would appear they have a yellow colour called "Indy Yellow Pearl".

My supplier, a third party UK import specialist tells me the yellow colour they have is called "Racing yellow or Sunshine yellow (different name for the same color)."

The colour I want, is that of US cars - "Spa Yellow Pearl". I've tried Honda UK who claim they don't know what the rest of the world do, and I should try contacting Honda Japan!!!!

Don't suppose anybody out there in Europe, or anywhere else can confirm what the deal is with this four different(!) kinds of yellow???

I don't know about the other yellows, but I'm almost positive that Indy Yellow Pearl is the same color as Spa Yellow Pearl.

The yellow seems to be the same colour the world over. Whilst I can undertand that certain colours won't be released in specific markets I doubt very much if Honda would produce two shades of yellow for different markets.

They make 2 different blues. I know that the yellows are the same though. They couldn't call it Indy yellow here inthe states due to copyright stuff with Indy.

Here in Switzerland, we have the following 5 colors (Silver, Red, Blue, Black and Yellow - not White). I've seen all 5 at different dealers and they looks exactly the same as the different pictures in section "Photo Gallery".

Mine will be Silver and received on the August, 6th

The names of the colors may be different but the most important thing is to check the universal color code. That way, you can determine which type of color you want exactly.
