We all talk the "pure sportscar" talk, but the reality is that the car has to be practical and satisfy many needs. I agree with geezer. Honda set it up just right.

The last thing I want to do with this car is get on the freeway and set the speed. I want to be tossing it around curvy roads, upshifting, downshifting, VTEC'ing my brains out. Cruise control? Honda, get rid of it! Save money and weight.
Spoken like someone whose never driven 1000 miles straight in their S2000. Unfortunately, all roads are not curvy and your foot does get tired after 4 or 5 hours.

We don't get cruise control in Aus, so I installed it myself.

I don't mind getting tickets if I'm deliberately speeding, but the majority of my tickets are for cruising up the speedo whilst not being aware of it on some boring freeway. The cruise control helps me avoid it.
