I enjoy the cruise control. It's a nice luxury. Especially for someone like me who uses their S as a daily, and sometimes I'm on the freeway for 75-100 miles a stretch. Cruise control definitely cuts the fatigue factor.

To remove the cruise control units to save the weight, would be the eqivalant of pigging out at mickey D's the night before you took out the S out. take your pick.

Cruise Control = Ticket Control

my town has a rather rigid enforcement of the speed limits.

so i just use cruise control and think of it as a pitlane limiter

Hey, I even like the air conditioner. There are some days that I take the top down and put the A/C on as well.

Want to have some fun? Set the cruise control at 25 in first gear.

I'll bet you're sorry you opened up this little can of worms OhioRacer. All the racers on this board and they want their cruise control. I wonder if Michael Schumacher wishes his Ferrari had cruise control so his leg wouldn't get so tired. Maybe that'll be next for F1 to go along with their paddle shifters. I still back you up on this.

Honda, get rid of it! Save money and weight.
OhioRacer,

Please don't take my Cruise Control, please don't take my Cruise Control, please don't take my Cruise Control awaaaaaaaay!

I have an hour of interstate to and from some of my favorite crusing spots. Lynnrd Skynnrd and cruise control were made for each other!

Are you serious? We don't have a race car. Trying to compare our car to an F1 car as far as amenities is ridiculous. His car doesn't have a cd player or headlights either. I would say that the car Schumacher drives on the regular roads does have cruise control and other amenities. I've taken my car to the track and since it was 200 miles away, it was sure nice to have cruise control on a flat, straight road.

The cost is minimal and I would be astonished if you removed it from your car and you could notice any difference in the car's performance.
