I love my '02 Spa Yellow more than any other car I have ever owned. But, what the heck was Honda thinking when they put cruise control in a roadster sports car?? The last thing I want to do with this car is get on the freeway and set the speed. I want to be tossing it around curvy roads, upshifting, downshifting, VTEC'ing my brains out. Cruise control? Honda, get rid of it! Save money and weight.

I totally agree. I, also, wish they had a manual top and windows. How difficult is it to drop a top and roll down the windows on a roadster? They should have made a/c an option as well.

Yeah, and what's with the audio system?

Who wants to be distracted from the sounds of the mechanicals, wind, and road?

But what about the spare tire? Do you really need that? If you have a flat w/one of the back tires you have to move a front to the back and put the spare where the front was. (That's what the dealer told me) Kinda pointless to me.

And the passenger seat, 90% of the time, that seat is empty in my car. They should make it optional

Seriously, I have only tried the cruise control once in any car that I bought. Just to make sure that it works as claimed. Cruise control now comes in cars ranging from Mercedes Benz E-class to the Honda Civic. I've never used it while driving, even when driving on long distances like from Northern California to Southern California. I enjoy being in control of the car all the time.

WTF? You don't have to use it. If every car gets it it isn't very expensive, and the rest of us don't have to buy it as an option. Weight? Stop bawling and rip it out.

I'm with Gowgom. I had a CRX and DIED for cruise control because I would always drift up to very illegal speeds without knowing it.

While we are at it.....Just put on 3 lugnuts instead of all 5 and you will save some unsprung weight as well. Make sure they are really tight though.

Honda should have just run Open Headers too....... I see them on Dragsters, so it must be good.
