A Cup Holder, Really? We can do better.
I keep my remote control from my deck in that area(cause we all know how far away the deck is positioned from the driver in these cars =P).
Time to hit up an Auto X or track day. No need to worry about cops everywhere so you can put 100% of your concentration on driving and attacking every corner with the perfect apex. You never know, you might become a better driver in the long run.

I never eat in my car or let anyone. Smoking? Yea, right. I use my cup holder for my cellphone and wallet since my previous cellphone left an indent in my seat from my pocket.
I find it very useful to keep a bottle of water wedged between the passenger seat and center console. It fits perfectly and is easily within arms reach at all times since the cabin is so small. I only get drinks with fast food when I have a passenger that I trust. Food on the floor.

I vote for the Modifry.com cup holders. I put one on the center console passenger side using one of the map net screws, and one one the driver's side mounted to the door sill. They are only used for the one liter water bottles. They fold up out of the way and look like they were OEM.
No food in the S.

hehe, happened only once, but I found it helpful for securing the tiny cuts on the lid for the straws.

You're still talking about drinks, right???
