Got a decent conversation out of it...even though the necropost had little to do with the OP other than both involved a cup holder at one point.

I bought the optional oem ash tray for a change holder and my cell fits perfectly in the other half. As for cup holders, found a real easy solution that looks good and is very fuctional. Just pick up some cheap cup holders at walmart or something that are made to hang on the side of a door. Take up your kick panels, clip the cup holders on, put kickpanel back down on top. X2 for pass side, and you've got some good holders for bottled water on road trips down on the floor, out of sight.

haha... i actually dont mind the cup in the cup holder when I shift. It is ackward but I just rest my arm on top of the cup and I can shift just fine... funny thing is is I thought it was my body heat from my arm making my cup get warm instead of actually thinking it was the heat from the car itself lol!

I have that... so now instead of one useless cup holder, I have two useless cup holders. Actually it does fit my phone charger well.

I have the same one from the thread. It works great. Just zip tied it to the mesh and let it sit on the funnel. One of the most useful mod for the S. I'm not sure if the modifry cup holder is adjustable but the one I have is.
It's sort of self-adjusting... the little flap on the left folds down and has a spring that makes it press against the cup. But I'm not sure how big of a cup it can actually fit. I tried my Nalgene bottle and unfortunately, it was just barely too wide. It does hold my Starbucks travel coffee mug well though, so I'm happy. Just have to road test it now. I stole your idea and zip tied it to the mesh.
