Default Is my heater working correctly?

I have an MY04 and like to drive with the top down any time its not raining, even when the temperatures drop into the 40's. However, when I set the heater on the "top down" circulation setting, I get very little heat to my hands. Is this normal? Or should I take it in to get it fixed?

With the heater set for top down, maximum heat, maximum fan, I get just a little heat on my left hand and no heat at all on my right hand. My feet can actually get way too hot, and still have cold hands.

Thanks,

The only vents that are supposed to function are the feet and that vent directly in front of the shifter above the radio door.

I never use the "top down" switch because of the same problem... I always use the head/feet selection and blast my hands with hot air.

This is the 3rd convertible I've owned and the S is the only one that the back of my NECK gets unbareably cold with the top down on cold days.

It's like the circulation of air gets trapped behind my head. Either that or the vented seat back is allowing air to freeze my neck.
