My battaery finally quit.

Lights on the dash work, push the start button and you get a couple of weak cranks, the dash lights go out, everything stops and then resets.

No complaints as I bought the car new in October of 99.

from the info I have seen here, you folks seem to like the Hawker which is lighter than the OEM or the Optima Yellow Top.

Are these still the favorites or is there something else you folks like better?

The local Autozone has the Optima for the $139.99 price.

The Remy site price is nice but I might just go pick one up so I can drive the car tonight.

 

I notice the Braille is 11.5 lbs and the Optima is 29 lbs. How much does the stock battery weigh? Any other suggestions for lighter batteries.

 

can the yellow tops fit in an 05

 

I think the stocker weighs in the high 20's to low 30's.
