Default custom exhausts

So, I'm not comtempt with invidia and some rediculously expensive exhaust system for this car.

I know some of you got creative and done some of your own.

let's see it.

I have my idea and I'll share it as soon as it's done.

Piping is piping and as long as you know your flow rate with the engine output, you'll make power or keep them.

I also don't like the long sweeping curves at the stock crushed Y-pipe. I don't like having 2 mufflers either, but I like the dual exhaust exit.

I'll have some drawing of it shortly.

I'm estimating about $300 for the exhaust that goes all the way to the header (not changing the header out)

I searched and saw few that was pretty innovative.

I am making and hopefully will create a production unit of a single that keeps the dual tips.

It's all 63mm stainless steel hand tig welded.

I will have more updates soon along with dyno charts, videos, etc.

And price wount be out the roof btw, and it WILL have warranty against any issues (which is a major plus when creating a single custom exhaust; they dont always come out right the first time or in the long run).

Thanks!

2.5 inch.

I'm thinking that way too. 2.5 inlet, 2.5 outlet, splits into two 2.5" exhaust exit.

Yes, but trust me when I say that if you only make one the total will not come out anywhere near $300. Try more like $1300.

You would have to make a production exhaust in order to make it cheap; or at least make it of good quality and cheap.

Our first prototype which should be complete early next week is costing us around $1900 not including dyno time, r & d, and all the material at cost that is not wholesale (aka that most people can get). However, beacause we are producing this exhaust in large quantities we will hopefully be able to sell it for $800 or less.

It's a pipe, not mechanical parts.

mandrel bent will be the most expensive part of it, but I'm going to utilitze pre-mandrel bent pipings.

my design isn't expensive, and mine doesn't have to look shiny below.

and i'm not selling these for profit, so I don't have to worry about liability.

what R&D are you talking about? it's a bent pipe to flow exhaust. It's not difficult.
