Default Customer's SUCK!

Following the last Vendor X sucks thread, let turn the tables.

What have you done to an S2000 related vendor that would make the vendor say you sucked?

Remember, this is in fun and S2000 related.

Ask a million questions about their products then find it for half the price in the "for sale" section of S2ki without the wait time from Japan....

OK, here is one.

Customer has a problem with his/her order. Instead of e-mailing the vendor, they post a thread on an internet forum, bashing the vendor.

My favorite is when a vendor takes time to answer questions, provide information etc about a product they sell, and then the customer buys it off Ebay to save $11.82.

C'mon, really? S2000 Talk? Selling products to 18 year old kids who live with their parents and spend 3x their yearly income on a used car... and then being surprised when they act in less-than-adult manners as customers....

What's that saying about "fool me once..."

Just having fun. It is a backward bashing thread. The customers never get bashed openly

What about customers that don't get a response from a vendor after numerous attempts to contact said vendor?

What if the vendor is an active sponsor of this site?

What is a reasonable amount of time to wait to get a response when the vendor has taken payment?

Well, do what you must. Personal, posting a thread is a good idea. The tone of the thread can help too. "Hey Vendor X ripped me off" vers "Ordered from Vendor X, still not delivered".

Sponsor or not, post the thread. I would

(Back to the fun at hand, again this is in the line of this thread. )

But if the by contact you mean you sent several e-mails that simply stated "Hey, where is my order" with no order number of contact info. Don't expect a reply. The vendor should not have to guess who you are or what you are talking about.

Help him help you. Tell him who you are, what you ordered, when you ordered and what you are looking for. I.E. My name is Bob Smith, and on May 5th I ordered 5 Widgets and I would like to know if my order has shipped, or when it will ship.

That e-mail gives me something to work with. Now if I know that my widgets are back ordered, and I tell you that. if I know that Bob's order is on hold for credit card info, I can tell you that too. But to make me figure out who you are, what you are talking about and anwser your question? Come on, I am likely to get distracted after I figure out who you are, let alone what you want.
