Why "cut" the cord when the end can be removed intact?

Yeah, I bet if you hold it up just right in front of a light the shadow looks like a hair from the head of Jesus. It's probably worth millions. Wait I've got one of these too...I'm rich!

Must be an '06 thing. Kinda reminds me of those chains grandma had for her glasses.

Or the cord that runs through the kid's coat arms and connect each mitten.

My '06 has one. First time I filled the tank, I accidentally knocked the cap from the holder on the fuel filler door. It swung in a arching motion right on the outside paint. I would rather have it fall down to the ground. I'll remove mine. Just personal preference.

d00d~ even the mod is laughing @ my gas cap? it's the same thing as getting a radiator cap or oil cap or those brake fluid cover socks. None of them really do anything but look nice.

There's no moderator laughing at your cap cover. Just a "forum jackass" and a couple of "Community Organizers".
It's not quite the same as the rad cap or oil fill cap or brake/clutch reservoir socks. At least with those, when people ask to see your engine, they'll see them right away. A gas cap cover is more akin to those covers you put on your brake calipers that say "Brembo". Even that one (as goofy as they are), people see. When you go fill up with gas, are you going to say to your passenger, "Get out of the car and come see this."? OR flag down all the strangers at the gas station and say, "HEY EVERYONE! Come look at this." "It's my Mugen gas cap COVER."

Gascap sensor = Evaporative Emissions Monitor. There should be a vacuum in the tank. If there is no vacuum, then you'll get a CEL.

That's the way I understand it anyway. :IDK:
