whatever floats your boat but i wouldn't be able to drive my car for more than 10 minutes without worrying of going over a bump and having the spring coil pop out

like everyone said your car your choice....but hurry up and get some used or new springs! BTW I hope you get them soon before your shocks blow! then you'll need new shock and your screwed since you cant get springs. I would of waited till i got the money. GOOD LUCK!

You may believe that, but I would caution you about driving the car hard with someone you love sitting in the passenger seat. Stock springs were not designed to be cut, the outcome of a cut spring may indeed cause the car to sit lower, but don't fool yourself into believing this is safe.
