Wow, owners like this make me want to sell my car.
seriously bro, dont take things to seriously, its the internet.
I had a friend lose his life because he cut springs, the car flipped in a high speed turn because the spring jumped and ... Don't continue to drive like this, unless you wish to endanger yourself and anyone driving behind you.

why's that? because someone posted the entirely stupid, and dangerous idea of cuttting their stock springs
I think you next purchase should be a bunch of cool stickers, neon washer fluid squirters, a bunch of crazy colored lights, (placed strategically around the car in cool places), curb feelers, a huge dunk exhaust.... no, no, scratch that, cut the exhaust off, get a few racing stripes, replace s2000 badges with gtr badges, find the rear section of a 747 and mount it on the trunk, and finish it all off with a hand full of 27 inch plasma screen tv's and your favorite gaming system.
I think I hear Pimp My Ride calling.

Hi....I'm new here...i know i'm going to get some negative responses and flamed for this..but being a broke high school student i wanted to lower my s2k so i cut the springs
i thought hey its my birthday soon and i can get springs if it handled like crap.well seeing other ricers cutting their springs and their stories on hwo it handled like shit and bounced around everywhere
then i was reading somewhere on s2ki and one guy cut it and said it handled better. and everybody else here just like any s2k owner loves their s2k too much to mess around. i took the chance and cut one and a half coil in the front and one coil in the back. i know for sure the downside is the springs not sitting in the seat correctly.and a chance of it coming uot of the seat. and "bouncing a lot" and shorter shock life. HONESTLY. i didnt even get an alignment yet and it handles just the same if not better less body roll around the corner. only difference while driving is it tends to bounce a little more than stock well stock had a lot of bump steer and hopped around a lot. at least the hopping and bump steer is gone so its safer for me.just wanted to let some of the s2ki owners here know how it is to cut the stockies.
