im looking into getting an S soon and took a test drive in a used one the other day so i could tell if i really liked it. I was worried about the "lack of torque" that everyone seems so caught up with, but those fears are purely unfounded. A sub 3000lbs car doesnt need a ton of torque to get moving. I currently drive a base model stealth with a sohc v6 which produces ~180ft/lbs at 4k rpm and the S certainly didnt feel slow below 6000rpm compared to it.
