Default Why aren't you daily driving your S2000?

There's a lot of talk these car forums about what makes a great daily and I'm curious why some of you aren't driving the S2000 whenever you can. If its over 30 degrees and not wet out and I don't need to drive more than one person, I'm in the Honda, top down. Granted, I don't have a long highway commute and don't deal with stop-and-go that often but even if I did I think I'd still take it her whenever I could. What's your excuse?

Because it takes five minutes to get out of my driveway and my daily is better on gas.

That is it.

Completely disagree. I drive mine all the time and it never feels any less special.

My daily is a CR-Z 6MT since I won't care (as much) if it gets dinged/scratched/hit or destroyed. It is a bit more comfortable and also fits my dogs. The S2000 COULD be a daily but I have the luxury of driving something else.

During the summer I daily my S2000. I do work from home though LOL!
My "winter" daily driver is the S4. I'll drive that during the summer as well when I need 4 seats or a bigger trunk which is not all that often.

I have to move another car to take the S2K out, I have long commute on highway where the road noise at 120 km/h or more does get annoying.

And I feel that taking the S2K out on the weekend when I am more relaxed is far more enjoying.

For that same reason of the wind noise, sometimes I which the car wasn't convertible at all.

I have to move 2 cars out of the way to get the S2K out of the garage, be stuck in LA traffic for my 52 mile round trip to work, easily stealable parts on the outside if left parked unattended, loud and uncomfortable compared to stock cars, have to worry about speed bumps.

It's just much more fun to drive it over the wkend when i don't have to worry about being stuck in LA traffic. Although it really doesn't get driven period anymore.

Takes to long to pull it out of the driveway with at times 4 cars blocking it in. Plus more wear and tear on it if it's a daily. Also KIDS.

LA traffic is brutal and driving anything in it is not fun. I take public transportation (bus/subway/Lyft/walk) if it's anywhere near peak hours.
