Default Da'Lan/Curt/Draw-Tite

I've read that Da'Lan and Curt are both the same manufactures, just different names. On the Draw-Tite website it doesn't even list the S2000 as a compatible for their hitches... Has anybody seen a Draw-Tite hitch?

Called U-Haul, they are selling me a Draw-Tite hitch for my MY03 for $239.95/$327 installed! Compared with a Da'Lan $300 uninstalled.

They did say they would need to drill 6 holes in my truck...

Any experience?

Nope. A lot of members here have hitches for different reasons. Most have them to tow their race wheels/tires to tracks. I'm using my for a bike rack so it won't scratch the car.

I have a Dalan hitch myself - great way to carry bikes. The holes will be in the trunk floor and bumper support beams. If I was ever brave enough, a cargo box could even be attached to my rack, though I wouldn't put more than 50 lbs of stuff in it.

I would have never thought? Thank you for the enlightenment! I think I am still going to have to see it to believe though.

I have a Da'Lan. Only paid like $240 for it from Tire Tail. I like it. I put it on for a Tire Tail. Slickest damn thing made to haul race tires.

Used ones pop up every once in a while - that's how I bought mine. Some people recommend against the tiretail, but it can;t be any worse than towing a jetski. I did that with a '97 Prelude a few years back without a problem.
