Well I took this morning off work since it was sunny out. It was the last drive of the S2K I wanted to get it gassed up, fuel stabilizer, tire pressure etc. So before I go to the gas station I drive around abit to get the temperature up. Coming around Main st. I kick the back end out, Vtec towards my house and then past it. Come out to a major st and see a cop behind me. I change lanes to make a left in to the gas station and he pulles me over. Says" I know you were speeding but I didnt clock you, it also looks like you lost control. SO I'm gonna give you a ticket for 10 over on this st." Whats the luck. I drive like a nutcase all summer and on the last day before retierment I get a ticket. He tells me its a $450 ticket for the careless driving. and he's doing me a favour! by this time I had ticket in hand and was pissed so I tell the guy "who are you to tell me I'm not in control I could spin this car like a top all over this road and not hit a soul." Bastards!!!!!

 

People have died due to other people playing on the roads. Main street is not a place to play, Backroads are the place to play.

I am not saying I am innocent.. just keep in mind drive safe. Unexpeted reactions of other drivers can cause your "in-control" playing to get out of control.

Fight it and get it reduced Good Luck.

That really sux. It`s strange, I was sure I was going to have something like that happen on my last day out and actually it did. Thats when Classic Honda dinged my car. Anyhow, I've got it away for the winter now.

Don't miscontrue my words for the fact that I was driving unsafe. I am a very safe driver and drive about 55000 km/year. This guy just had a hard-on for me. simple as that.
Thanks for the sympathy Geordie. My problem is much smaller then yours I put my tires at 44psi That should do it I think. Take care...And someone plan the Beer Night!
