Default Damn cats

My neighbors cat keeps sleeping on my car's roof. This is really getting annoying, I have tried spraying cat repelant around the car but if you miss one day the damn cat's back again. Did you guys have this problem before?

Last resort would be getting a loaded BB gun and blasting his *ss off my garage .....

Oh for God's sake. Did it ever occur to you to talk to your neighbor? They are the ones responsible for the cat. Hurting the cat is NOT going to solve your problem. Make it clear to your neighbor that it is their responsibility to keep their cat indoors. Domestic cats should never be allowed outside...it is detrimental to their health and devastates the local bird population.

Now I'm sure we're going to hear from 3 dozen socially inept/closet bedwetters about the best way to kill/harm/torture a cat.

Just wait until the cat is 'almost' asleep, then hit the PANIC button on your key fob. Good for a couple laughs and a cat-free hood!

Cause you know someone had to post this

And watch as the cat leaves 20 scratch marks across your hood and fender trying to get away. Which would serve you right for being such an ass.

Any more bright ideas?

personally, I just let the cats sleep on my top.

I like watching them lick and groom each other on my car. they never scratch the top or the paint cause i cover the car.

they make for a good viewing with a glass of wine.

I don't own cats by the way.

I live in an apartment, so I dont know who the owner is. I will however talk to the manager later today. Don't think this will do anything though. I got car cover on my car since its a weekend car but what about on weekened nights? Need to get this cat outa here, whether quietly or painfully

I have personal experience with this one, my neighbor has 2 cats. Neither one has been fixed so they like to *try* to spray my car and motorcycle. Usually I dont leave either outside but occasionally they wander in to the garage and attempt to spray my stuff. They also like to use my garden planter for a litter box.

I have asked the neighbor to please restrain his cats and get them fixed to stop the spraying/litter problem He agrees but never does anything about it.

I called animal control and they refuse to do anything about it. They said cats dont even require a license so they cant do anything for me. The only thing they suggested was for me to catch the animal on my property and drop it off at the humane society. The owner would then have to pick it up within two weeks or the cat goes night night forever. This may be an option but its his friggen cat! Why do I have to do the work?

If this keeps up I have no choice but to start sniping with the bb gun. It wont kill em but maybe they will get the hint and stay the out of my garage.

Before anyone flames me, I do have a cat of my own. He is fixed and stays in the house where he belongs. I picked up my cat for my family, not to annoy my neighbors.
