Damn the S2k in the rain
I ran over a sprinkler with water going through the floor. It not like I'm about to drop pressure just because of the water on the floor. With new tires with only 3 weeks of wear on it I drive about 350 miles a week. The tires in that siuation was at normal PSI as in 32. I still hydroplane it not like I try go all fast. But I can feel the tires go above the water. But the second instance that just happen a couple of days ago. I kept my foot on the gas because I wanted to maintain speed at 50 not accelerating.
Does anyone else get a headache trying to understand this thread?
Anyways, can't the cops give you a ticket for running on bald tires? You'll surely be blamed for any traction related accidents.
Regardless, it is fun to throw out the rear end every so often. Just slow down in the rain.

Serious I don't speed after seeing an S500 crash right in front of me. I was totally shock, he was hauling going 80 I was going like 65. Now on the freeway I go about 45-55 in the rain. As long as I drove the accord but the S2000 I keep at home unless I wanna make donuts or drift.
If I may be so bold as to add... DRIVING FAST IN THE RAIN...is a definite NO..NO
no matter what you're driving. It's just silly
(not to say that I'm not guilty of it, but I do try not to and drive at least 30% slower).
No matter the tyre, the setup and most of all, how 'good' you think you are in the wet
, there are way too many variables on the open road to take even calculated risks. Like for example, oil and water don't mix, and on any public road, there's bound to be some oil. Hit that combo and u'll be doin more pirouettes than Tonia Harding.
Also, it's very hard to see just how much water there is on the road surface...that is until you hit it
I could go on, but I think you get my drift (no pun intended, actually it was
).
Bottom line, when the clouds open up, switch from Schumacher to Drivin Miss Daisy and swop the Sean Paul for some Nat King Cole, chill and get home safe.
9,000
or nothing at all.
Peace.

how are you people driving? I mean sure, my back end slides out around corners much easier now... but it just makes things fun!
