Default damn you auto driver side power window

alright guys please dont flame on me, i have search found the correction and made it. dont get me wrong the programming works, but the stops.. right now my driver's side auto power window doesnt work.. i do the whole programming thing and get it to work for like 2-3 tries, but once i put the top down, its like it resets the whole thing.

both windows should automatically go down when you put the top down right? so after i do the window programming fix and i put the top down, the passenger side will go all the way down, but then the drivers side will only go like 1/2 inch. then from that moment on i lose my auto window capability. the window will only go down if i hold the stupid button

then i find myself doing the programming for the auto window everytime i start my car, and once the top goes down it resets, and i have to do it all over again. please tell me what im doing wrong.

i find it really annoying when i know something in my car should be working, i do what i need to do to fix it, it works, the the problem happens all over again. thanks.

i had the same thing... look at s2ki.com HOME. check the service bulletins. There is one that has this exact symptom. I printed it and took it to my honda dealer. It calls for replacement of the driver side window regulator. My dealer fixed it no prob.

If the car is out of warranty, the dealership may not fix this for free.

it even says on the bottom of the TSB, if the car is out of warranty, the dealer may fix it as a good will repair. I think that means they can fix it and still collect from honda, if the dealership is nice.
