yeah mine was the same thing... and no. no squeeks or anything. i told them if there were any squeeks or rattles i would not take it home until it was perfect so they asked me if they could have the car for 2 or 3 days to make sure it was perfect since they had never changed a dash on an S2K before and i told them they could keep it for a month just as long as it was done correctly so they had it for a day and a half and it's fine to this day. this was a week after i got my car like 5 months ago. btw, it was norm reeves in huntington beach that did it.

So how would this not happen again if I got it replaced? I've had mine for 5 months, so what says it won't happen another 5 months from now? It seems to be the material they use for the 06 dash.

That is really awful. Way noticeable! with most folks, take it in. Honda should fix that no questions.

Undoubtably Honda changed something with the way the dashes are made.

Ben who?

There is quality control, but after nearly 7 years... isn't your complaint a late to the game? My bumper isn't "perfect".... its not a Mercedes and I don't mind it. Things could be worse, you could own an RX-8 with a defective engine.
